Why did you join Green Cabbage?
After initially meeting with the team, I was excited about the opportunity to play a part in the growth and exciting things happening at Green Cabbage. It’s amazing how much the company has progressed in just 3 years – and I look forward to all that is to come!
What is your favorite part about working at Green Cabbage?
I really enjoy deepening my relationships with our clients. It feels good to witness how much of an impact we are making within their procurement organizations. I also appreciate how collaborative our team is. Everyone makes themselves available to step up where needed with no hesitation. We all come together to accomplish our goals.
What do you think makes our team culture unique?
We have a really dynamic team, each with expertise in specific areas, so we’re always learning new things when we come together. Aside from our differences, everyone on the team shares a sense of humor so there is a lot of joking around that makes being in the office more fun.
What is your proudest moment at Green Cabbage so far?
I’ve been involved in some major projects so far. Most of our clients’ subscriptions with Green Cabbage are based on an annual savings guarantee. I was able to help one of my clients in particular reach their annual savings goal in just 6 months, which led to an early renewal.
What values are the most important to you in the workplace?
Prioritizing tasks is important. I always want to make sure I’m responding to requests immediately and making sure tasks are complete in order of time sensitivity.
What advice would you have for people that are just starting up in their careers?
Consider yourself a lifelong learner. Regardless of your education level, real knowledge is learned by doing and through training opportunities. Taking time to ask questions will help you to grow professionally.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I love to travel, go hiking, and volunteer with a couple nonprofit organizations in my community, including fostering rescue dogs!
